Operated by Jim and Jerri Gore, the owners/operators of Smokin' Jim's BBQ in Bedford, IN. Their hearts have always been in feeding people in need and they are even more capable through their business. When a tornado hit Henryville in 2010 they felt called to go help. They packed up as much food as they could carry and hooked up the grill and took it down to cook for whoever needed. They were completely unaware of just how much of an impact they would make and how much it would impact them. They ran out of food in hours and people from all around responded to their call to action by bringing food for them to cook to continue to help the hundreds of people in the town in dire need of a hot meal. They spent many days helping out and God just kept providing everything they needed to keep going. After that trip they knew that when disaster struck they were called to go out and do what was needed for the Glory of God.
